Permanent jewelry is designed for continuous wear. The chain is welded together, creating a durable accessory for everyday use. Since the jewelry is welded, it does not have a clasp and is intended to stay on "permanently." Who doesn't love claspless jewelry?!
The process is quick, painless, and safe. A specialized welding technique is used by experienced artists. Protective measures for your skin and optional safety eyewear are provided during the procedure. No spark will touch or get close to your skin.
Weeks, months, years - how long your permanent jewelry lasts depends entirely on your lifestyle, job and other external factors. While designed to be long-lasting, they are not indestructible. If your bracelet breaks or stretches, we will do our best to repair it. Before purchasing, please consider your daily activities to ensure a perfect fit for your lifestyle.
With a wide variety of chains, charms, and styles to choose from, finding the perfect combination for your permanent jewelry may take a little time. However, the actual welding process only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. If you're bringing a friend or loved one along, the whole experience will take less than an hour!
Yes, you can! TSA and CBSA do not require you to remove fine jewelry during security checks.
In certain situations, such as medical procedures like MRIs, pregnancy, or surgery, you may need to remove your jewelry. But no worries—if it's for medical reasons, we'll reweld it for free! To make reattachment easier, we recommend finding the original weld point on the jump ring and cutting it there. The small gold ring should break easily with a sharp tool, like nail clippers.
While our jewelry is designed to be durable, it does have its limits. If your piece breaks at the weld or stretches, simply book a Jewelry Maintenance appointment at no cost within the first year.
Breaks on the chain can be repaired, if possible, for a fee.
Please note, we are unable to replace lost chains.
Caring for permanent jewelry is much like caring for any other jewelry. Use Dawn dish soap and a soft toothbrush for routine cleaning. To keep your piece looking its best, avoid applying lotions or perfumes directly on the jewelry. Be cautious during physical activities to prevent snagging, and try to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals when cooking or cleaning to protect it from damage.
Sterling silver may temporarily tarnish when exposed to substances like chlorine, sulfur, or bleach. A silver cleaning wipe can easily remove the tarnish, as can a simple cleaning with toothpaste and a toothbrush or baking soda. Regular wear can actually help keep sterling silver shiny, as the natural oils from your skin slow down the tarnishing process.
14k Solid Gold: 14 Karat gold contains 58.3% gold, combined with other durable metals like zinc, silver, and copper. This alloy blend is highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and tarnish.
10k Solid Gold: 10 karat (10 kt) solid gold is made with 41.7% pure gold and 58.3% other metals such as silver, copper, or zinc. This type of gold is known for its durability and affordability compared to higher karat golds like 14 kt or 18 kt. The addition of other metals increases the hardness and strength of the gold, making it more suitable for everyday wear.
Gold Filled: Gold-filled jewelry consists of a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal like brass. It does not oxidize or corrode easily. Although less expensive than solid gold, gold-filled jewelry is more durable and can last years with minimal care.
Sterling Silver: Sterling silver is a high-quality choice known for its longevity. With proper care, sterling silver jewelry will remain beautiful indefinitely. Use a sterling silver cleaner to remove oxidation if needed.
